Castle Climber Week 11

Time for my penultimate Castle Climber update. This one is even shorter than last week’s as I’m still focusing on my other assignments more.

Features implemented

  • Fixed the text outlines (see above). Previously they were quite jagged because I was using Unity’s default outline implementation which isn’t great. I’ve since partially shifted to TextMeshPro. It looks much better!
  • The princess is now randomly generated (see above). Now you won’t feel like you’re rescuing the same one over and over again!

Features to add over Easter and beyond

  • I’m going to focus on bugfixing, general quality of life updates and polish across all areas of the game.
