I am One to Watch!

Search For A Star X Games Programming One To Watch

As has become the tradition for me, I took part in this year’s games industry student competition organised by Grads In GamesSearch For A Star X. Although I didn’t manage to become a finalist this year (unlike last year), I still did well enough to earn the One To Watch badge! This badge is awarded to those who have “created an excellent project, shown a great understanding of game programming and a strong aptitude in technical ability”.

I am beyond pleased with what I achieved, especially given the rather limited amount of time I had to spend on the competition due to my final project and dissertation. This may very well be my final time entering Search For A Star (unless I decide to do a Masters – stay tuned) and I think it’s a pretty high note to go out on if I do say so myself!

Anyway, that’s all I wanted to share for today. Going back to work on my assignments now. Thank you for reading!
