About Robohacker

Robohacker was made for the Artificial Intelligence for Games module. The goal of the module was to develop a game that would feature AI as a critical game component while also implementing one or several AI-based Game Design Patterns as defined by Treanor et al. Robohacker implements the AI is Visualized pattern where a “visual representation of the underlying AI state” is provided by the game, thus “making gameplay revolve around explicit manipulation of the AI state.” The intelligent agents in the game were created using Unreal Engine’s excellent Behaviour Tree tools and the AI Perception component.
